Our Focus

Chapter 235 primarily supports the ICBM, Space and C3I organizations, and other program maintenance oriented organizations as well as the 75th Air Base Wing on Hill AFB.  We provide support to the AF JROTC programs and Utah State AFROTC programs.  In conjunction with the Utah Aerospace Education Foundation we also support STEM education programs including the AFA CyberPatriot program.  In addition we select STEM teacher of the year in K-8 and 9-12 categories, and support veterans programs.  We have 501(c)3 status and are a registered charitable organization with the State of Utah.

Our Chapter meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm at the Hilton Garden Inn Ogden, 2271 S Washington Blvd Ogden UT (across from the Megaplex Theater).  We meet in the conference room directly off the lobby.  All are welcome.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the National AFA and Utah State AFA strategies of a dominant United States Air Force, a strong national defense, to honor and support Airmen, and to remember and respect our Air Force Heritage through education, advocating, and supporting.

To accomplish theses, we:

EDUCATE the northern Utah public of the critical need for unmatched aerospace power and a technically superior workforce to ensure US national security through active participation and/or financial support of community events.  Examples include the Focus on Defense Symposium, local AFJROTC/ROTC programs, and Hill AFB Community College of the Air Force graduations.

ADVOCATE for aerospace power, aerospace education, STEM, and our Airmen within northern Utah.  The Chapter provides financial support to local AFJROTC/ROTC studies and STEM competitions.  The Chapter members also organize STEM events (4-H Science Day Rocket Launches, and Rube Goldberg Competitions) as well as serve as judges.

SUPPORT the Total Air Force, the Air Force Family, and aerospace education by way of financial contributions to Hill AFB programs (Airmen & Family Readiness Center Projects, CCAF graduations, Thanksgiving Day Food Baskets, Veterans Day Thanks Cards, and Brent Scowcroft Awards).  Two scholarships are available CCAF graduates..
